MotoJoe Training offers a comprehensive range of courses, from Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and Direct Access (DAS) for novice riders, through to advanced post-test training for experienced motorcyclists.
COMPULSORY BASIC TRAINING (CBT)
2 Day CBT Plus £400
This is where your riding journey begins!
A true taster of what motorcycling is all about, our 2-day CBT Plus Course will give you all the basic riding skills you need, as well as additional tuition and support to ensure that you can head out onto the roads confidently and safely.
Offering 2-1 tuition (1 instructor to 2 students), a full day of off the road training and full day of on the road training (compared to minimum of 2-2.5 hours on the road 1 day CBT).
Day 1 - A combination of theory and introduction to motorcycling on our private training area.
Day 2 - Continuing on from day 1 and venturing on to the road.
Motorcycle hire with trousers, jacket, helmet, gloves and boot hire all included.
1 Day CBT (Experienced / Renewal) £195
Only for riders who have already taken a CBT and are renewing their certificate or have ridden geared motorcycles extensively in the past.
Morning - A combination of theory and introduction to motorcycling on our private training area.
Afternoon - Continuing on from the morning and venturing on to the road.
Motorcycle hire with trousers, jacket, helmet, gloves and boot hire all included.
DIRECT ACCESS SCHEME
5 Day DAS / A2 Motorcycle Licence £1,250
You can get your full (category A) motorcycle licence using the direct access scheme (DAS) if you’re aged 24 or over. You’ll have to pass the motorcycle practical tests on a machine of at least 40 kW (53.6 bhp).
Taking direct access means you’ll have a full motorcycle licence without previously holding a licence for a smaller bike for two years – you’ll have no restriction on the size of machine you can ride.
The A2 Motorcycle licence is designed for people between 19 - 23 years old. The A2 licence follows the same structure as the DAS course with the test taken on a restricted bike, on reaching age 24 or after 2 years have passed, an A2 licence holder may upgrade to an unlimited licence by taking both practical tests on a full power bike.
