As it was my first time renting a motorcycle as well as my first time riding in the UK I was definitely in need of guidance through the process. 

I must say both Amy and Martin handled this beautifully. From accommodating me on such short notice, to Martin taking the extra time to carefully put together a route he knew would be safe yet entertaining. One of the big concerns for me was finding myself in certain traffic situations being my first ride in the UK. After about twenty minutes into the ride, I was able to relax, realising that the roads I was on were well within my capability. It also gave me a chance to get a feel for a bike without having a lot of cars around. Now that I was comfortable with the bike I could just sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. 

I stopped back at the shop about 10 minutes before closing just to let Martin know what a great day I had. As we still had some good daylight and the weather was spectacular we headed out for a few more hours down some of his favourite local tracks. That was a real treat.
