Something bigger than racing – MotoJoe
As a company when we first got involved with Tim (CEO The Sandstone Foundation) we were intrigued as to why anyone with little to no offroad riding experience would want to take on a race as demanding as the original Dakar race – 7500km unsupported across some of the most remote areas of the world.
As we got to know each other it became apparent that whilst rally raiding was exciting it was in fact not the primary reason for the mission. It is about showing young people that there are no short cuts and you will have to move outside of your comfort zone on occasion but with the right mindset, collaboration and training you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
MotoJoe has always been about the spirit of adventure and of course using motorcycles to open our horizons and bring people together.
