MotoJoe is a motorcycle company based in Scotland. We run guided and self-guided motorcycle tours of Scotland and beyond, hire out the latest BMW motorcycles, and teach everything from your first CBT to off-road and adventure skills.
MotoJoe Ltd is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC462439) and trades under the names rentamotorcycle and motorrad training.
Our ethos is to support and inspire each and every customer — from helping you gain the skills and experience to get the most out of your time on a motorcycle, to sharing our passion and enthusiasm for touring Scotland by motorcycle.
What we do
- Guided Tours — spectacular routes through Scotland, and occasionally beyond, ridden with an experienced guide on your own motorcycle, or on a BMW you rent from us.
- Self-Guided Tours — we build the route and book the accommodation, you ride at your own pace.
- BMW Motorcycle Rental — late-model BMW Motorrad machines, from the F 800 GS to the R 1300 GS, with fully comprehensive insurance included.
- Motorcycle Training — CBT, Direct Access Scheme (DAS), refresher and post-DAS courses from our DVSA-registered training centre.
- Off-Road & Adventure — Dirty Demos, Forest Trails days, Bring Your Own Bike sessions, plus immersive first aid and camping & survival training.

MotoJoe operates from three locations:
MotoJoe HQ, Dalkeith 226 High Street, Dalkeith, EH22 1AZ Your base for BMW motorcycle rentals and tour departures.
Central Park, near Eddleston, Peebles Our very own off-road facility, home to our Dirty Demo and Bring Your Own Bike sessions. The exact location is provided on booking.
MotoJoe Training, Bonnyrigg 20 minutes from Edinburgh city centre Our DVSA-registered training centre, where all on-road training courses take place.
